By sharing God's Word, we give His kids the armor to stand up boldly in this world with the knowledge they are loved by God and teach them what God expects of them. Our children are greeted each Sunday morning by our loving paid staff. They, along with many talented volunteers, provide a safe and nurturing experience for our little ones. The Fireflies have a Sunday school lesson during the 9:30 am hour. Lifetime friendships begin here ... come join us! NURSERY HOURS: Nursery is available 8:45 am - 12:15 pm weekly for children birth - 3 years. A Nursery for children birth - 5 years is provided on occasion for special evening service. However, since most of the evening services are "family friendly," click on the NFUMC Calendar button at the bottom of this page to see if Nursery is available on the date of the service. 9:25 am Children worship with their parents or Children's Ministry Leaders in the Sanctuary. After the offering portion of the service, children are dismissed with their leaders to the Fellowship Hall for Kids Of The Cross (KOTC). Acolytes The acolyte program offers children in the 4th and 5th grades to participate in the 11:00 am worship service. Acolytes are responsible for bringing the light of Christ into the service, assisting ushers during the offertory and bring the light of Christ into the world at the conclusion of the service. We offer three different children’s choirs each Wednesday evening during the school year: Melody Makers (3-4 year-olds), Chorister (K - 2nd grades) and Carol Choir (3rd - 5th grades).

 WEEKDAY / PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The program is designed to give young children a loving, happy learning experience in a Christian environment. It is the goal of the staff to provide a program to help children become happy, responsible, cooperative participants through positive teaching techniques that are age appropriate. It is our responsibility to give feedback, and help them grow in respecting the rights and feelings of other people through basic Christian principles.
