Congregational Care Ministry
Thru our Congregational Care Ministry we host quarterly blood drives, sponsor Lifeline health screenings, give prayer quilts to members who are facing serious illness and  facilitate short-term transportation to doctor's appointments.

We also offer GriefShare classes, try to support families when they experience a death and send cards to comfort in times of sadness and illness. We visit the homebound and our Care Call Ministry contacts members who have missed several Sundays in a row to let them know they are missed.

We at NFUMC believe in "whole body" health - spiritual, mental and physical. For more information on ministries for lay involvement, contact Rev. Brenda Westmoreland at 770-448-4142, ext. 101.

Stephen Ministry
A ministry of trained Lay people who offer caring, supportive help in times of need, grief or other crisis. Those who become Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of training and are commissioned by the congregation.

Health and Wellness Awareness
